Mandal is a small, nice town at the south end of Norway. It is the most southern town of this country and offers one of the very rare sandy beaches at Norway's coast. Mandal got prosperity though being an important centre for timber trade in the past.
Approaching is possible, even at night with two sector and one leading light. However the navigation channel is narrow. The berths are located in a river mouth, directly at the town center.
