The island of Losinj is part of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar county and the Cres-Losinj archipelago which includes not only Cres and Losinj but also some smaller islands around like Susak, Unije, Ilovik, Vele Srakane and Male Srakane. The largest settlement is Mali Losinj.
