Kos
From SkipperGuide, the online cruising guide for sailing areas around the world
The island/town/marina of Kos was visited mid May 2009. The marina has superb facilities with clean showers, toilets, etc, and is the standard bearer for all marinas in Greece to emulate. There are a couple of bars for a drink, chandlery and 'must have' shops. For a 50ft yacht, we paid 28 Euros for an overnight stay. It is also a change over point or charter base for several of the big charter companies.
The marina is a 10 minute walk from the town. Once in the town, choice of bars and restaurants are numerous. Peter Rowling (OFSA).
